What is the default password for connecting to your Sunny Boy inverter via Sunny Explorer?

The default password for User is 0000. You should not need to use the Installer password but if you ever do, it is 1111.

We use Sunny Explorer software supplied free by SMA to monitor their Sunny Boy inverters. You require a Bluetooth connection to be able to connect to the inverter. This can be done using a latop with built in bluetooth or using a USB Bluetooth dongle for the connection.

Once the Sunny Explorer software is installed you need to setup a connection to your inverter. The default password for the inverter is 0000. This will then allow you to view the generation from the inverter and to download data files showing the output from your solar panels recorded at 5 minute intervals.
